AICI CIP
The Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) Certified Image Professional (CIP) designation is designed to show that an image consultant is a true professional and has achieved high standards in their industry and that they keep abreast of current thinking and technical knowledge. It shows that they achieved a highly competent level of training and knowledge in the image field.
CIP’s must first complete the FLC (First Level Certification) examination a 150 question exam with a 70% pass mark. They must show they have worked full time as an image consultant for a minimum of 2 years or part time for a minimum of 4 years. CIP’s must have promoted themselves and their image knowledge through writing, media appearances, and speaking engagements.
CIP’s must submit three unopened evaluation forms from other CIP’s and 10 unopened evaluation forms from clients. The standard is high and they must prove to the reviewer that they have received appropriate training and are running a qualified image business.
